Hello everyone,
I was wondering if I could get you to help me out. I have submitted four designs for a design challenge from Minted.com. It is a personalized stationary site. I can win up to $500, but need your votes to help get my ratings up! Take a look and try to vote on all four of them if you don't mind! a few of my favorite things...

here is a sample of some of the projects I have been working on this month...


So here is MY new logo...I have been pretty busy getting things ready for my freelance design and another business project I am trying to build!



This one is a logo design I did for an interior designer this past month. It was a but challenging, but once I was free to explore my creative thinking for this, she ended up LOVING it. So glad!!!



And this one is an announcement I custom made for my sister...because...THE SECRET IS OUT...she is having a BEBE!!!!!



This was for a disco invitation I did for Carla the woman I work for...we didn't end up using it, but I thought it was pretty funny and still like it!!! {Aunt Tam...doesn't this look like Brady with a Fro?}



Here is a bag design that I helped with. I made the little birds and text combination. Carla did everything else. I think it is cute and appropriate for its subject. ;)

I am working hard to make things happen over here!! :) I am glad that I am finally able to blog again. Working from home has been VERY nice. I have learned that Life changes SO fast, and sometimes you have to change with it!

last train to clarksville...

i went back to clarksville this weekend to do some photo shoots and see jeremy of course. julia and maddie were little angels. i love all of their adorable little matching outfits amber always has for them. the other shoot was of jeremy's little cousin morgan. she had too much fun being in front of the camera. she was a little pro!

we had a pretty packed weekend, but still managed to have some fun. we ate at the bell witch school house which was yummy, and did eddies yard work and ate with him, went to porkin in the park, and went to jeremy's first softball game!!!

tanning bed etiquette...

top 12 things NOT to do at a tanning salon...

1. Do not take a minute long drag off of your cigarette and then come blow it in my face...
2. I know you get bored laying there for 15 minutes, but don't pass the time by picking your nose and wiping them on the bed...it cooks them on and your lotion does not work as well as PAM...
3. Do not stand on the beds and look over at nakie women...cash your ten in for some ones and go to the strip club...
4. Don't snort cocaine in your car in front of the store and come wipe your leftovers onto my counter...we don't do drugs...
5. Do not bring your dog in and expect us to let you fry its little doggie eyes out while you tan...
6. Do not bring your bike into the store and proceed to tell us that your babies momma stole your car and will come looking for your bike next...and then ask us to let you tan for free...seriously...we do not watch bikes, we tan people...
7. Do not bring your three children in strollers and happy meals and tan for 15 minutes...the meal might make them happy for three minutes...but did you forget about the other 12 minutes that they are screaming for you...leaving your three children does not make us happy...
8. Do not sing at the top of your lungs while you are in your bed...that's what your shower is for
9. Do not talk to your friend about us while you are on your phone...we can hear you...
10. Do not come out in your boxers with your junk hanggin out and tell us that your bed isn't turning on...we know you know how to turn the bed on...
11. Do not fart in your bed right before you get out and put the top down to keep it in for us to smell when we open the top...you're disgusting...
12. Do not Pee in the trash cans...you are gross for even putting that thing near your stuff anyways...

So the craziest/nastiest things happen at work. I thought I would share this one with you because I still can't believe it...We were sitting up at the counter (working of course) and this woman came up and was SOOO mad. She explained to us that the man in the next room had his head over the wall looking at her while she was nakie!!! We were like WHAT? The guys comes in quite a bit. Then we got to thinking that this was going to take some investigation because in order for him to have done that he would have had to stand on top of the bed because the bed is pushed up against that wall. Sure enough I go to clean his bed and there was dust all over his towel. He had wiped away his feet prints that she left on top of the bed!!!

life updates...

Jeremy and I and about 15 of our friends headed to Gatlinburg for spring break. We stayed in the mountains and had a wonderful time. Jeremy bought a blow gun that we shot into one of his friends bootie, played putt-putt and rode go carts, and various other activities.

Next in line...I am moving back to Clarksville the weekend of May 2nd. I am very excited to get back! I hate leaving mom and steve, but am ready to get back to doing what I love...photography and design, and my kiddies of course. I am all lined up with jobs and living arrangements. Jeremy got a full time job on Pike electric, so we are excited about that too!

I have been waiting patiently to see if I will be auntie still...It saddens me that things like this happen to such good people. Grow baby Von Bauer, Grow!!!!

this was a little boy after getting his tooth pulled at the dentist. the laughing gas was obviously not on his side!!!

car wash...the new body wash...

i got a shower in the carwash today...pink, blue and yellow soap though smells very yummy does not taste quite as good!!! Always remember to check your windows!!!

st. louie...

We went to St. Louis for my graduation/smashley's last adventure before kiddies. I was asleep for about 67% of the trip, but none-the-less, it was a blast!!! I wish I would have gotten more pictures of our adventures, but here is a little sample. Derek's face is priceless!!!

snowed in...

Jeremy came to Louisville this week to hang out. We got snowed in today so we made the best of it and went and played in the snow. We tried to make a snowman, but he wasn't packin.. (haha, that was funny...yes, I just laughed at my own joke)...anyways, we even tried to make a wee one for ashley, but couldn't. So, we decided to go sledding!!! It was way fun. We are currently looking for a place that isn't sold out of real sleds. I called Sams and before they even said can I help you the man said "hi, thank you for calling Sams, we are all sold out of salt, generators, shovels, and sleds, can I help you with anything else." That's what I call business!!!

mom jeans...

oh my god...this reminds me of how long it took us girls to finally convince mom that the mom jeans and Keds HAD TO BE BURNED!!!! It took quite a few years to convince her that it was okay to be a cool mom!!! And today...she rocks them bootylicious fashions!!!
